Ask yourself what you would do if someone asked you to sever a relationship you valued.  Ask yourself whether you would disown a community you had come to love.  Put yourself in the position of a lifelong Catholic and think about the trauma you had to go through in recent years.

Anyone who recc'ed that diary owes an apology to the Obama's.  That diary is slanderous at best, as well as malicious and vindictive.

I was raised by a single mother in a home w/eight brothers and sisters.  We relied on the love we had for each other, our humor, but mostly our wits.  I am proud to state for the record that we have all gone on to lead productive and happy lives.

It seems that the words of Rev Wright are stirring up a lot of action in the press and on the net.
Just like the words of Barack Obama will stir the action  of the people to take back their government.
We build relationships w/people and accept their views as just that their views, not ours.
If we had to take responsibility for the words of all those we loved, despite their contrary views, we would be all carrying a heavy load.

I have to agree w/those who support Hillary that we know how she'll act when she gets to the Whitehouse.  Which is why I point to Travelgate as very telling.  You can go to a site called Oicray to get the transcipts of the travelgate hearings.  I suggest you do so, as I am not savvy in the ways of the internet and this is the first diary I have attempted.

This is not a hit job, but rather a raising of the electability bar.  If anyone thinks the Republicans are not going to re-educate the public on Travelgate they are sorely mistaken.

She avoids any direct answers in her testimony and contradicts all other parties involved.  As she did not directly answer any questions they decided not to raise the issue of perjury.  She was clearly not truthful,and gave the Republicans the opportunity to gain the house in the Fall w/questions about her role in the Whitehouse.

If you have the chance to read the transcripts, or even just the direct testimony from the parties involved, you will see the danger of this being unleashed on a candidate for the Presidency.

I am a member of Emily's list and have contributed to numerous campaigns to bring women's voices and issues to Washington.  There are many grreat women who deserve the opportunity to seek any and all higher offices in the U.S.  Hillary Clinton is not one of these women.

She sold out her accomplices in Travelgate and offered no apologies.  One of her oldest friends, Vince Foster, was made to look devious.

I can forgive her exagerations, demeaning her opponents and even praising John Mc Cain, but lying or amnesia under oath is beyond the pale.
